Our Story
Well as Dennis sees it, I have stocked him for the last 18 years. For the people who don't know, Dennis and I have known each other since we were 15. We worked together in a restaurant, him as a dishwasher and me as a waitress. Dennis then quit the restaurant and went to work at Dominion. Shortly thereafter so did I, to the Bakery, where Dennis enjoyed free pasteries from me. I also think I went to a house party of his.
Later on when we met again after several years, we had learned that we both lived on Harris court and Falby Court! It really isn't how it sounds. I really had no idea he had lived there and Dominion paid better...that's all really! Oh I forgot! When I changed my career to Real Esate I joined the same Brokerage as both of Dennis's sisters! Of course it was unbeknownst to me.
So...we met up again 18 years later, it was almost a year after my separation and I wasn't ready for a relationship yet. Dennis was patient and was a great friend to me. We would just hang out, go to dinner or go shopping, it was just what I needed. I invited him to my Christmas party because I didn't want to take a date and have to babysit all night and I knew Dennis would know people there (his sister) so I asked if he would go. He said why not it's a free dinner. Well that night changed everything for the both of us. When he picked me up in his suit and tie, I saw him differently. I couldn't believe how HOT he was! I remember saying to him at the end of the night..."You know I have 3 kids right?" I guess the rest you could say is history...
